About PJ
– Cliff Note Version

I've been in banking since dinosaurs roamed the earth.

Seriously. I started at 17 as part of a management development program in high school — before most of my peers had their first job — and I never really left. Over 25 years, a handful of Fortune and S&P 500 institutions, 12 M&As, countless reorgs, and whiplash-causing regulatory changes later, I've had the privilege of doing what I can only describe as the sexy stuff in HR.

Leadership. Compliance. AI Ethics. Privacy. Data Governance. Immigration. The things that keep executives up at night and make everyone else's eyes glaze over at dinner parties.

I love every single bit of it.

Then a literal mid-air emergency reinforced everything I already knew — and reminded me why it all matters. That moment didn't change who I was. It just gave me a really great story to open with.

Banking Since Dinosaurs

I started in a high school management development program at 17. Some people find their calling. Mine found me early and never let go.

Military Roots

Both parents served. My mother was a Navy Lieutenant. My father was a Marine Private First Class. She outranked him. Yes, he had to salute her.

Former Athlete

I played golf at university. It was supposed to teach me mental toughness. Turns out I didn't have any at the time. I never threw a club. Much.

Boy Mom

Raising boys means nothing in my house is precious, nothing is quiet, and the primary language spoken at home, according to my son's school registration form, is sarcasm.

Family Dynamics

Youngest of five in a loud, loving Italian family. Talking over people isn't rude. It's just how we show we're interested.

The Quest

Still searching for the world's greatest cannoli. Leads welcome.

Kitchen Hazards

I'm actually a pretty good cook. My boys eat everything I make. Whether that's a compliment or a survival instinct, I choose not to investigate.

The Hair

When I started this job I was a brunette. Stress is a hell of a stylist.

Why I Do What I Do

I'm not up there to impress you. I'm up there because I genuinely cannot help myself.

I love teaching. I love the moment something clicks for someone in the third row. I love raising awareness about things that matter — AI, leadership, compliance, trust — in a way that doesn't make people want to check their phones.

I don't speak as a consummate professional. I speak like we're having coffee. Because the best conversations I've ever had about leadership didn't happen in boardrooms. They happened when someone finally felt safe enough to be honest.

That's what I'm here to create. Every single time.

The PJ Effect

Here's what your audience walks away with

A man passionately speaking on stage to an audience in a spotlight.

They'll Leave Seen

The trenches are real. The pressure is real. The moments where you're not sure you're getting it right — those are real too. PJ names what most speakers won't, and audiences feel it the moment she opens her mouth.

They'll Leave Equipped

Not with a binder full of best practices. With actual tools they can use Monday morning. PJ doesn't do theory. She does truth—translated into clear, practical steps that work in the real world.

They'll Leave Clear

What does leading with honesty and humanity actually look like in practice? PJ answers that question in a way that makes it feel not just possible—but necessary. Leaders leave knowing exactly what to do next.

The Keynote Gets Them Thinking. Forte Gets Them Moving.

Some audiences leave a keynote fired up and ready to change everything. And then Monday happens.

PJ Rossi brings the message. Forte HR Advisors brings the muscle.

Whether your organization needs ongoing HR compliance advisory, AI readiness strategy, or bias audit work that actually holds up — Forte is where the real work gets done. No theory. No binders. Just honest, practical guidance from someone who has lived every challenge she advises on.
